Seven children between the ages of nine and 12 were discovered Wednesday night sniffing gas in an unsupervised house.

Only one of the children lived in the house, and none of any of the parents could be located.
Mushuau Innu Chief Simeon Tshakapesh, a mental health worker and staff from Child, Youth and Family Services also responded to the incident.
Last September, CBC News recorded scenes of five adolescents in Natuashish holding bags of gasoline they claim they siphoned from vehicles.
The investigation into Wednesday's incident continues.
