Rwandan man found not guilty of war crimes

An Ontario Superior Court judge has ruled a Rwandan man accused of crimes against humanity is not guilty, saying the Crown didn't prove the case beyond all doubt.

Jacques Mungwarere, a refugee claimant living in Windsor, Ont., was accused of participating in the Rwandan genocide in 1994 — and was only the second person to be tried under the Crimes Against Humanity and War Crimes Act in this country.
