Maritimes to mostly see sunny day with some flurries or light snow

The weather in the region will be much better Sunday than last night as a mostly sunny day lies ahead, with some flurries or light snow sprinkled in.

In Halifax, Environment Canada says it will be mainly sunny today with some flurries. Snowfall amounts of 4 to 6 cm are expected. The temperature should hit a high of 1 C.

The weather agency says that Charlottetown will mostly be sunny today, but there will be periods of snow beginning this afternoon. About 2 to 4 cm is expected before the snow ends this evening. The temperature should hit a high of -3 C.

In New Brunswick, some flurries are expected to hit the cities of Moncton, Saint John and Fredericton. Otherwise, the cities will be mostly sunny.
