Two patients who escaped from a mental-health facility in North Bay, Ont., could be in Truro, N.S., police say.
Joseph Pepin and Cara Duval, who also uses the name Donnelly, are in their late 30s and have brown hair.
Police say the couple poses a significant threat to public safety.
For just a few moments, the two were caught on a security video at the Truro library on Monday.
Police say they wandered in to use the internet, but left before signing up to access the computer.

They fled from the the North Bay Regional Health Centre last month while out on a pass.
According to Mary Lugli, spokeswoman for North Bay police, the patients were in the facility's mental-health and law program. She says people in the program have criminal pasts, but she would not disclose the nature of the couple's past crimes.
Lugli says the hospital is concerned that as time passes, these two can pose a threat to the public because they did not complete treatment.
'If they just would have come that hour'
Before apparently heading to Nova Scotia, the two were sighted in Doaktown, N.B., where the owners of a motel say the RCMP could have caught them.
Last weekend, the couple tried to rent an apartment at the Taylor Motel.
Glenna Taylor, one of the motel owners, contacted police earlier in the week after she heard from the pair.
But Taylor says the RCMP missed Pepin and Duval by 15 minutes.
"If they just would have come that hour they were supposed to come, that's all we needed," she says.
Cpl. Chantal Farrah, speaking for the RCMP, said: "It's unfortunate, but I can tell you we were verifying and following up on various leads in various areas."
Janice Tobin, of Eagle's Landing B&B in Truro, tells CBC's Maritime Noon that Duval and Pepin tried to rent a room from her around 3 p.m. on Monday.
She says Duval came in and asked about rates, and whether the bed and breakfast accepts cash. She then said she was going to check with her "hubby," but then drove away.
Tobin says both she and her husband were surprised to see the "pleasant young woman" on the news Tuesday evening.
"Watching the news last night on TV, I saw their face … I was certain," says Tobin.
She then called the police.
"I felt danger when I watched the news but no, they were just as normal as anybody that comes to the door," says Tobin.
"It just makes you think about answering the door. You just don't know who's going to be at your door."
Police say call 911 if couple spotted
Truro police believe the couple is actively searching for a place to live in the area and stress:
- The pair should not be approached.
- Anyone who sees them should call 911.
Truro police say they may be travelling in an older-model grey vehicle, similar to a Chrysler Intrepid, with a New Brunswick licence plate.
Here are descriptions of the couple:
- Duval, 37, is five-foot-one, 117 pounds, with brown shoulder-length hair usually kept in a ponytail, brown eyes, and a scar between her eyebrows.
- Pepin, 39, is six feet tall, 174 pounds, with short brown hair, a goatee and blue eyes.
