Dead infants found in U-Haul storage locker in Winnipeg

Winnipeg police are scheduled to hold a news conference at 11 a.m. CT to release details about the discovery of dead infants in a storage locker.

They haven't said how many infants were found or where, but CBC News has learned there were three bodies — possibly four — in various states of decomposition.

Sources told CBC it's a "gruesome scene" like out of a horror movie.

The bodies were found Monday night in a U-Haul storage locker on McPhillips Street and Elgin Avenue in the city's West Alexander neighbourhood.

It wasn't clear how long they had been in the locker.
