Video footage from a drone showing a stubborn fire in St. John's gives a unique aerial perspective of what firefighters were up against.
Crews from several fire departments spent about four hours Saturday at the home on Goodridge Street.
Three firefighters were sent to hospital suffering from the effects of smoke and heat exhaustion.
The drone video was shot by Tyson Baldwin.
It shows flames shooting from the roof and smoke pouring across the neighbourhood as firefighters spray water on the fire.
No one was home when it broke out, but the displaced 40-year-old man who owned the house is getting some temporary help from the Red Cross.
