Montreal police are investigating after a video of a woman plucking and eating a raw bird on the Metro surfaced on the internet.
Police were alerted to the video on YouTube when it was reported by a citizen.
It shows a woman between the age of 17 and 25 riding in a crowded Metro subway car near Jean Talon station.
She is seen taking a whole, dead bird out of a plastic bag and plucking it on the spot before eating a piece of the animal.
"She was eating a raw bird inside the train and there's people that were disgusted by this incident," said Const. Manuel Couture with the Montreal police.
In the video, some subway riders could be seen distancing themselves from the woman, and showing disgust.

Investigators with the Montreal police transit division are searching for the young woman.
Couture said she could face charges of disturbing the peace. They are not ruling out that the woman has a mental illness.
"It's not excluded that we offer help and resources to her," said Couture.
Police are alerting Metro riders to call 911, or Info-Crime at 514-393-1133, if they see a similar incident.
