Ontario Provincial Police are searching through Bon Echo Provincial Park for two teenage sisters who went for a walk Thursday but didn't return.
Police say Jenna Kipp, 16, and her sister Emma, 12, of New Hamburg — a small community just west of Kitchener, Ont. — were with their family at the Hardwood Hills campground at the park north of Belleville when they went for a walk around 10:00 a.m. ET Thursday. That was the last time they were seen.
Police and park staff are searching for the teens by boat, ATV, helicopter and with the help of two dozen officers as well as police dogs.
Anyone who may have seen the girls is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
