Miss Ally spotted capsized, but still afloat

A plane has located the hull of the Miss Ally, the boat that capsized off the coast of Nova Scotia last Sunday in rough weather with five fishermen on board, according to police.

The Coast Guard and fishing boats are expected to reach the debris soon.

A joint operation involving Department of National Defence and Canadian Coast Guard crews had launched an extensive search for the vessel on Friday.

RCMP in Woods Harbour say the Miss Ally has been spotted capsized, but still afloat.

There has been no sign of the five young fishermen who were aboard the Miss Ally.
