Police are on the hunt for a pair of men and a third man in connection with two separate armed carjackings in B.C.'s Fraser Valley.
Two men who police said were dressed in ski gear robbed a liquor store at the Austin Station shopping centre in Coquitlam just before 9:30 a.m. PT Saturday, fleeing the scene in a Ford Taurus.
A short time later, the same pair wielded a gun as they carjacked a Range Rover from two women.
The Range Rover was later found gutted by fire in Surrey.
Abbotsford police, meanwhile, are looking for a man who carjacked a vehicle at gunpoint after breaking into a home and smashing into a police cruiser.
At 5 p.m. PT Friday, police were called about a man who had broken into a rural home on Nicholson Road, Sgt. Casey Vinet said in a release Saturday.
When police arrived, the man fled in a stolen pick up truck and hit a police vehicle at the end of the driveway.
Minutes later, police deployed a spike belt but, the pickup drove over the belt and kept going before hitting another vehicle on Mount Lehman Road at Cardinal Road.
It's believed the same man then carjacked a Toyota Corolla after producing a handgun and forcing the female driver out of her car, then took off westbound on the Trans-Canada Highway.
Police do not have a good description of the man, but are looking for a Caucasian in his 20s or 30s who was wearing a dark-coloured hoodie.
The 2006 Corolla has B.C. licence plate 726 PHL.
There have been no arrests. Anyone with information in either incident is asked to call 911.
