The RCMP in southeastern B.C. today ended an Amber Alert for a missing B.C. boy who disappeared during a supervised visit with his father on Thursday.
Officials in Montana have confirmed the boy was found safe, but have not said if his father is in custody.
Elk Valley RCMP issued the Amber Alert on Thursday afternoon. The three-year-old boy went missing during the supervised visit near Sparwood, B.C.
Jennifer Viets, Montana's Amber Alert co-ordinator, said the father's vehicle crossed the Montana border near the city of Eureka at around 3 p.m. MT on Thursday.
